Do I need Contract Works and Public Liability?
Yes — they cover different risks. One protects the project, the other protects your legal liability.

Relying on a policy that doesn’t properly cover completed works exposure.
-Is turnover-based insurance risky?
It can be if renewal is not offered or terms change. Projects commenced cover provides more certainty for ongoing jobs.
-Should I use a combined policy or separate liability?
Depends on your business — in many cases a Broadform Liability policy provides stronger protection.
-Can developers arrange their own project insurance?
Yes — and it can improve control and reduce duplicated costs in builder pricing.
-Do you deal with more than one construction insurer?
Yes we have access more than 10 insurers that all have different specialities, risk appetites, and cover options that like to insure in this area. Insurers both here in Australia and underwritten by Lloyds of London
-Can you quote Contract Works insurance with a LEG4/5 or DE 2/3
Yes , the insurers we deal with are all experienced in defects ,workmanship and resultant damage so in most instances we can get waht you need.
-Do you understand Design and Construct contracts and the risks associated with them?
Yes we sure do. D&C contracts are more and more common and we can help you to identify and either insure or at least beware of the risks.
-Can you get me insurance for an existing structure or an incomplete project?
Yes in most instances we can get some coverage, but we will need a lot of information and probably a dilapidation report
-What about delayed start insurance?
Yes on a case by case basis we can look at one of the following :
